"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful. Dining in all three restaurants was superb. We would definitely go back. The Falconry experience was amazing. Just be aware it is not run by the hotel but it is on or adjacent to the grounds. A two minute walk from the lobby."

"Nicely decorated hotel, although our room and some other areas were very tired and in need of some TLC. The staff were pleasant although weren't always able to help with our queries. The breakfast room (Braid Suite) was uncomfortably hot, we ended up propping the window open using a mug for some fresh air!
The location was lovely and easy to get to and from the town centre. However not sure it was worth what we paid £200/night. "

"Edinburgh is a city that if your visited it once , you'll be coming back many times. And this hotel catches the spirit of Edinburgh completely.
Location can't possibly be better. We walked everywhere, the best food is there, the best attractions are steps away.
Because we stayed there two times, one before Glosgow and the second after, we sampled two different rooms and were very happy with both.
The views from the windows were stunning. The beds were very comfortable.

"The room was clean and well maintained, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff were also friendly and welcoming.
However, the room was extremely small. I was glad I was travelling alone, as there would not have been enough space for two people to move around comfortably. I stayed in room 401, which is described as an accessible room, but the limited space surprised me.
At almost £300 for the night, I did not feel the room offered good value for money. Breakfast smelled lovely, but...
