"My stay at Grand Bavaro Princess was mixed overall. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the beach area is one of the highlights of the property. The rooms were clean, and some staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the facilities are showing their age and could benefit from significant updates. Many areas of the resort feel outdated compared to other resorts in the same category. The biggest disappointment was the level of service. While a few employees went above and beyond, the majority of the staff seemed uninterested in helping guests. Simple requests often felt like an inconvenience, and interactions were frequently lacking warmth or hospitality. On several occasions, it appeared that staff attitudes changed depending on whether a tip was given, and some employees seemed visibly frustrated when guests did not tip. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere that detracted from what should have been a relaxing vacation. Overall, the resort has potential thanks to its location, beach, and beautiful grounds, but improvements to the facilities and, more importantly, customer service would greatly enhance the guest experience. Based on my experience, I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars."

"The best part about the trip was the suite we had with the swim up pool. Food was edible, nothing to write home about. Check-in was a nightmare and the line took over two hours after traveling all day for 9+. Staff was pushy to join their membership club. Others pools were very crowded so luckily we had a private pool. Air conditioning made the walls rattle. ‘Free mini bar’ in room was two beers and three sodas with no refill. Very expensive for what we got."

"The pools were immaculate and the drinks were very good. Service in general was very good. The ocean was red flagged all but one day which I expected having been here before. Food was a bit hit or miss. The Grill, Agave and Chez was best."
