"The main lobby was extremely clean and nice. Breakfast was great with lots of hot selections and a soda fountain! Never seen that before! The pool area needs some fixtures replaced due to rust (from humidity I imagine) but the pool and hot tub were great. Beds were a bit firm but room was good. Would definitely stay again "

"This was a wonderful place to stay in downtown Iowa City. Easy to find and close to many parking options. Our family room, two queen beds and convertible couch, was the perfect size for our stay. We even had a large bathroom without losing any neutral room space. Very clean and comfortable! "

"The evening and morning staff were both wonderful and very friendly. The room was clean and in good condition, and the beds were comfortable. The only "negative" I could mention was that there was someone mowing the lawn in the earlier morning hours that woke me and my kids up too early. I know that the hotel staff may not have had any control over this (as it may have been a contractor), so I don't fault them, but it was quite an inconvenience. "Great property after a recent renovation. Adjacent to a riverwalk and wetland area and the new Iowa River Landing area. Great food, fun shopping and the convention center is next door. Lovely stay with a great staff. "

"This was literally the best bed I have slept in at a hotel. I would have given a 5 star but there was a very heavy pet smell in the hall, didn’t smell in the room though so that was a huge plus. The pool was indoor but not heated or temp controlled so it was extremely cold even on a very hot day."

"The doors of rooms going in and out in the hallway slam really loudly, if it was a busy night it would be annoying. The property is beautiful with on site bars and restaurant. We attended a memorial service in a meeting area of the property and it was lovely. But the hallway noise was really loud and we were there on a relatively quiet night without many staying. I thought the rates were quite high. "

Anything above 5th floor should be clear, 5th and below the backside view is of a parking structure. Blinds work well.
