"My coffee machine didn't work. I have a Keurig and tried a couple times. Not a big deal, finding coffee in nyc is not exactly difficult, but would have been nice to have little something in the room. Should have reported it perhaps but that's not how I spend my vacation time. "

"Fidii hotel has some of the best and some of the worst of the hotels that I’ve stayed in down in the Financial district. I travel there almost every other week for work and have stayed at quite a few that are reasonable in price. The good. The shower is one of the best. Good strong pressure and roomy. Bed is pretty comfy and TV is good The bad. Almost no space and terrible use of space. Bathroom is somewhat roomy but no where to put stuff. My shaving kit kept falling into the sink because the shelf was so small and they put glasses on it. But there isn’t anywhere to put the glasses as there’s no desk or shelving. If you just need a bed and a great shower this is the place. If you want somewhere to put stuff this is not the place Maybe I got the smallest room but at least for me - a road warrior - I won’t be staying here again"

"Originally booked a room facing the lake. (Which we were excited about, since it was our 1st ever visit to NYC). Upon arrival they let us know that they had "maintenance issues" with our room and sent us to a different room. What a bummer.. Everything else was great! 5 stars for allowing visitors to check their bags in while they explore! (dont forget to tip those gentlemen) they were great! Clean hotel, friendly, and worth staying"

"This experience was awful. I checked in at midnight and was given a room that did not lock. The deadbolt was misaligned with the door frame. I asked for a different room, was told not a single room available. Staff called housekeeping to come check the lock and he arrived, took one look at the key card entry and walked away - leaving me standing around for 15 min until front desk staff found him outside smoking. He came back in only to tell me it was unfixable. At 12:30 am, staff told me there was someone checking out “now” and if I waited for a quick cleaning I could have that room. I was tired and honestly didn’t believe the story (after being told there was no other room available) and asked for my money back and that I wanted to leave. Once I left, I contacted Expedia to help me get my money back for two nights I didn’t end up staying there. Hotel refused my money back so I’m out the cost. This place was a terrible experience. "

"10/10!! I LOVED this hotel. We had a corner suite with an AMAZING view. The lobby is busy but the aesthetics are top tear! I will 1000% be back here. "
