The room we were allocated was right above the lounge area facing into the carpark and was the least soundproofed room I’ve ever slept in. "The exterior of the Inn could benefit from some improvements. First impressions matter, and on arrival we were concerned it might be a little run down. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case — our room was pleasant, comfortable, and spacious enough for a one‑night stay. The only downside was that the coffee and tea facilities were very limited, with just two sachets and a few milk capsules, and as the Inn closes early there was no staff around in the evening to ask for more. "Very conveniently located to Loch Lomond & the highlands. The staff (Alistair, Faith, & George, to name a few) were professional, friendly, and accommodating. The dining room was bright & neat & clean. The food was very nice and there was a wide variety to choose from for dinner. This is an older hotel, but everything worked. The soundproofing was excellent! Could not hear the motorway or people in adjacent rooms or in the hallway, even though the hotel was full."

"The room was a good size for my wife and me, appreciated the air conditioning especially during a heat wave, shower facilities were very good and the coffee maker and cupboard with bowls, plates, microwave very useful though we didn’t use them. The only thing was that we found the mattress too hard which caused us discomfort and the fire alarm went off about 6am but was quickly switched off. "Staff very friendly and nice. Extremely noisy. At first I assumed the windows were open. They were not! Broken sleep most nights from noise. Breakfast ok except for large pile of rotting bananas every morning. Fire alarm went off briefly. Called reception, they said no issue. Went off again.
