"The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner/host ended up greeting and checking us into our room. Gave us an upgrade and onsite laundry facility was a bonus. Made several recommendations for dining and breakfast. Overall the stay was fabulous!"

"Room was clean, functional and every thing worked as should, bathroom was spotless and plenty hot water and clean towels were pure white clean. There was a communal space to sit and have food, bit disappointed bar down stairs was closed ,but not in full season so not major issue. One recommendation is to swap the wood framed bed for a divan based, Badly injured my knee stepping down into the room hitting knee on bed frame as so close to step, this could have been avoided if was a divan which...

"Hotel very conveniently located to city centre and all it offers, culturally - great museums, sustenance - great restaurants and a lovely walk along the river in the sunshine, also easy walking distance from the station. Room was clean, but a sock was discovered from a previous resident on the desk chair. Bed was comfy, but springs very squeaky. Free breakfast - a wide choice of hot and cold foods. Bananas were very green! Some cutlery and cups unclean. Snacks available from the bar and a comfy...

"Easy to find. Private parking down the driveway. Extremely well presented inside from a decoration and artwork perspective. The bedroom I had was very well put together from an esthetics perspective. Also, a nice, and well maintained garden to wander around. There is an honesty bar with a good choice of whiskeys and other drinks, plus another larger lounge to relax in. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection of options. "The room was dark. It was hot. The phone didn’t work. I was told I couldn’t have room service till 22.00. Only to discover at 21.40 that it is available from 21.00. The shower needs instructions to turn it on. When booking via expedia I understood parking was available as there was a blue dot indicating parking and I paid more for that room than another room exactly the same. When I arrived there is no parking available and I had to use and pay for public parking."
