"Good hotel, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the area is not great during the day and at night. The rooms are quite small, so great for a one or two night stay but no longer and for the price I would have expected proper cups for hot drinks and glassware and to have the tea caddy redone when the room was getting cleaned. On a positive note the staff were extremely friendly and helpful."

"Stayed two nights. Hotel is well situated but is getting a bit outdated. Bathroom door was poorly repaired. Hotel is quite noisy, all sounds within the hotel seem to carry and the doors slamming was both heard and felt when lying in bed. Breakfast was just basic. First morning apparently no chef working so no hot options only continental. Second morning with a chef so we were able to order hot food. Partner ordered a full Scottish breakfast and was happy but I ordered salmon, poach eggs and...

"Our stay was fantastic! Communication with reception was great, and the unit had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, and we loved having the use of a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The location was excellent - right downtown and close to the train station/bus stops/restaurants/shopping, but the unit itself was quiet. Our only issue was that the unit was quite warm and we couldn’t figure out how to turn off the heat/turn on the AC, so information about that...

"Property in great location, friendly/helpful reception staff and room clean. Was disappointed by lack of daylight in room. Room 124 faced out to a brick wall with industrial bins underneath. Room had a bit of a smell to it, perhaps from previous occupants. Noise from bar/club underneath until early hours. Neither of us found bed comfortable and along with the noise didn't sleep well at all."

"The room was clean and had a kettle hair dryer but not the usually attention to detail . The water completely on day one was not refilled day 2 . No little amenities as complementary nice tough would have been a nice. I did not have breakfast this time. The spa was well kept well maintained. Perfect city centre location"
