"My husband and I stayed for 5 nights (in Room 7) in late June. We really loved the resort and Marathon. It is as pictured, charming and well kept. Very old Florida. It felt like we had the resort to ourselves. We didn't use the marina but it was fun to watch other guests and their boats. My bed had a section that made you feel like you were in a hole which was near the edge of the bed and a hump in the middle. Never could get comfortable. "We’ve been staying here for over 20 years and it’s my favorite place to be in the Florida Keys. We always feel at home the owner of the place she’s amazing always looking to give a helping hand. He tries to accommodate you as fast as possible. It has a boat slip in the back. The kayak use is free. You’re literally minutes from the 7 mile bridge.
