This property is marketed as a beach resort, but the “beach” is a very small, artificial sandy patch (see photo). The pools are equally underwhelming and feel more like small community pools than resort amenities.
The website’s description of a beachfront verandah is misleading. There is no real beachfront experience here — just a bit of sand with no usable beach.
Food on property was mediocre at best, and we were very glad we did not purchase the all-inclusive package. That turned out to be our best decision.
Service was disappointing overall. Front desk staff were generally unfriendly and dismissive; Cynthia was the only staff member who was willing to listen, which we appreciated.
Housekeeping was poor. Rooms were not properly cleaned, beds were not made, and towels were removed without being replaced.
This was the first time on a so-called luxury resort vacation that we couldn’t wait to leave. The experience did not match what was advertised, especially for the price. We will not be returning.
