4/10 Poor

"A smoke detector in the room next to ours started chirping at 5 AM. Repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered for 2 hours. When we went in person. the lone staff member told us the smoke detectors are not centrally monitored, and she failed to address the issue stating there was no manager on-site until 8 AM. Calls to the manager's number on the hotel business card provided were also unanswered. At 8:13 AM a maintenance person showed up with a ladder and removed the chirping smoke detector from the other room. We were packed and heading out the door by then, and the manager, although apologetic, said he was only able to waive one half of the room rate. A one-minute fix went unaddressed for nearly 3 hours because no one overnight was able or authorized to act. We had been to the resort a few times in the past and really liked the location, but we will not be returning again."

"Stayed 3 of 4 nights. First 2 nights were great! Quiet. Beds comfortable. Room was clean! We fish, the place was perfect for where we were going. The 3rd night was noisy. You can hear the families in the rooms on each side of you. We left a day early. Forfeited the last night. Also Forfeited the 50 dog fee. Last day to noisy for pets. The price was bit higher than the overall value for off season"

"We loved our stay here. We had a beautiful room with an amazing view of the ocean and the pool. Everything was super clean everywhere! It was extremely well kept. The complementary breakfast was amazing in the morning. And the little store has everything you need. The little gift shop was great as well the restaurant under the tiki hut was delicious too! I highly recommend this place two pools open till 10 PM jet ski boating fishing and right across the street from the hotel we saw the most amazing Key West sunsets every day we were there! We will most definitely stay there again."

"Great Stay Everytime! We stay at the Kingsail about 3 times per year. The rooms are Always clean, Staff is Excellent, Great views of Lagoon, Kyacks, Pool, is impeccable, and more! Reasonable rates, Great location. We caught our biggest fish right off the dock! Big shout out to Derek, and staff for a great time! Thanks again!"
