Excellent value for money 4 star hotel
Very good value for money hotel. Large room, even larger than some 5 star hotels in Deira. Great location near Ghurair mall, union metro and very famous Rigga street. Breakfast is minimal with little choice in a small sized room on top floor but more than sufficient for the day. Staff are very friendly and will attend to all your requirements with a smile. Mosque is 5 minutes away.

Not for young families
This hotel is not suitable for families. They have 4 bars splitted between 10 floor and from 10pm till early morning the music is so loud that you cannot sleep properly. When young kids don't sleep properly, all parents know. They should clearly advertise there will be loud music during the night time. We requested to change the on first time and we were told by reception that night time loud music will be in every room. Breakfast, average on the last day we found out if you can request toast and something else if you dont want whats on the table. This type of information should be visible for any guest either on the table or on a chart.

Staffs at reception are rude and unprofessional. Breakfast was poor. It was impossible to sleep almost all night due to the loud music from the night clubs. It was a terrible experience staying in this hotel.

Not suitable for family at all.
It was not suitable for family stay in this hotel, since there were daily night club that did not make us to sleep properly even after changing our room next day to be away from the loud voices that it came from the club and even neighbors who shout and speak loudly after attending their night club. I did not sleep as usual, unfortunately, I stayed 3 days in the same condition. Thank you.

Excellent, neat and clean hotel
It was amazing and all went very good. Rooms are very big, neat and well maintained. Check in and check out facilities are all very good. Especially Mr. Vineeth at reception are very helpful and also Mr. Mohammed, Manager was very kind to provide me approval for late check out. Well done team. Thank you all for the great service.

No good if you need to sleep
This hotel is terrible! The hotel has two night clubs that run until 3am, they are so loud that you can hear the sound through the entir building. I was 5 floors away from the 10th floor nightclub and could still hear and feel the sound booming away, I had very little sleep that night. I was booked in for 3 days, but only stayed 1 day, I booked another hotel instead.

Pleasant staff, noisy hotel.
despite asking for a room on higher floor (away from noise as per write ups) upon check I was given q room on the 1st floor. eventually changed to 7th floor, but even then from 10pm until 4am you could hear the thumping of the disco. only one restaurant open (the pizza place) all other restaurants closed for good according to staff ?

Excellent Hotel, close to everything.
I initially plan to stay for two nights. But I extended to two more nights. The rooms were very large, nice, clean and convienetly located.

Staff are courteous when you meet them one on one. There are a couple of Philippine front desk ladies who are very rude and unhelpful on the phone once you call in the evenings and will almost always not get a sole request done. They pretend to be nice when you come down because their general manager's office is close by and his door is always open. The hotel deliberately encourages the nightclub on 2nd Floor (Escobar) to play irritatingly loud music which is most intolerable even on 5th Floor. Their breakfast buffet is nothing to write home about. Bedroom is spacious and reasonably clean, likewise bathroom. Downside is after two people have taken a shower or bath, hot water goes cold but will return after 45 minutes. Good internet service which is for no additional charge. Location is very central and excellent for tourists, business person etc. concierge and Porter are helpful. General Manager is also helpful and staff pretend whenever he is around. My floor was wreaking of cigarette smoke despite being a non smoking room/floor. The hotel has potential to be great if these complaints are addressed. Television channels need to be updated to include more western channels such as SKY NEWS. Overall I would score as a 3 out of 5 and frankly a 3 star. These days when anything is possible you may find a 4 star rating which is certainly unmerited. I stayed at AlKhaleejHotelDubai with my wife and son . Not bad for the price though but could improve greatly.

I have been staying with you for the past several visits and intend on staying with you the next time but I had a problem this past stay due to the re-modeling going on on the floor above me. the heavy hammering would start at 7am and go non-stop til 6pm. I told the desk that I couldn't even hear the TV and even let them hear the noise over the phone--it was awful. I was told I would be moved to another room but never was and after requesting twice I just gave up--I feel I should have got a reduced rate due to no one else would have stayed in this room,anyone else would have demanded their money back and left. I always enjoy my stay with you and I know I will next time also but do think I should get some compensation on the next stay for the constant noise I had to endure for 3 days.

Great hotel but one problem
Everything except one thing about this hotel was amazing. There are multiple restaurants inside the hotel, a great Japanese restaurant, the default random restaurant with a variety of choices, a very tasty french steak restaurant, and finally a nightclub. The nightclub was the main problem as after a certain time every night the music would be blaring until 3am, so if you like to sleep this might not be the hotel for you.

Awful. Paid for a room with a large bed and the first night I was in one but right above the restaurant/club which has no soundproof and was insane loud until about 4 am. The next day they moved me to a different floor because of construction on that floor to a room with twin beds which I was pretty mad about. No loud music that night, but there was vibrating noises through the wall all day, no idea what it was, but it was very loud. Needless to say, I didn't sleep any of the 3 days i was there and the hotel did nothing to help accommodate any of this. They simply didn't care. A waste of 2400 Durham.

Dubai's hotels were full, owing to the confluence of Saudi and Iranian holidays. The Al Khaleej Palace was one of the very few that was available for a reasonable price. While the hotel has certainly seen better days, it is clean, it is safe, it is well-located, and the staff means well. The rooms are large, and are of a good standard. The bathrooms and related fixtures are fine. Do bear in mind that the in-house night club can be noisy, especially on Thursday and Friday nights, but, I had no trouble falling asleep. There are two in-house restaurants; I overheard compliments regarding both of them, though I did not eat in the hotel. My only real complaint is the mini-bar shakedown at checkout. It cost me at least 20 minutes, as management simply does not permit the reception/check-out clerk to believe customers' statements regarding mini-bar consumption, and no floor employees were available to verify my claim (the clerk privately apologized to me). Next time, I shall simply telephone the reception desk while I am packing prior to checkout, and ask that someone be sent to my room to verify mini-bar consumption (which, by the way, was zero). On the whole, and with the foregoing caveats, I recommend this place.

Great service, but loud nightclub
I had to book this hotel after missing a flight out of the Dubai airport. This was one of the few options available which were not very far from the airport, had free (included, I should say) wi-fi, and an airport shuttle. I did have to take a taxi TO the hotel from the airport, but there was a shuttle back when I left the next morning. Positives: The staff. From Joey the Filipino at the front door, to the lady (whose name I didn't get) who helped me at the front desk, everyone at this hotel gave great service. They got me a room quickly, set up my wake up call for the next day, and booked my shuttle to the airport the next morning. So, the service was great. The room itself was large, the bed was decently comfortable (not amazing, but decent) and the comforter was warm. AC didn't seem to want to switch from cold to warm, however. I, sadly, was on the second floor. This meant that the "boom-boom-boom" from the nightclub was very audible, as had been the construction banging, previously during the day. Restaurants were good, if a little pricey, but the service was good in the two I tried (the Italian restaurant and the Sushi). I'd say the hotel was worth $100 USD a night, but not the 130 I got charged.
