"Arrived to be told that we could not park at the hotel because there was no room, despite spaces being evident. After being offered the option of parking in a public car park a short walk away we declined this option and after some more discussion with the receptionist we eventually got agreement that we could park outside. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel. The lift was broken for the duration of our stay so we had to climb three flights of stairs to get to the room (the staff did take...

"The reception area does not answer their phone after 6p. The evening shift person at the desk was preoccupied and gave little to no direction to find you room. The rooms were very small and older."

"What a lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. Our room had a view of the water. We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. It’s obvious that a lot of careful thought has been put into making this B&B a wonderful place. "

"The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. "

"Wonderful small inn with B & B feel with history . The staff is amazing and actually overlap each other assisting you. A bit out of the way but beautifully set behind a gorgeous loch (lake) so plan on a car or about $120 in cab fare (6 trips) . Breakfast and dinner were delicious but unless you book with breakfast it’s extra. Well worth the extra travel."

"I sat down before a party of 12 did and waitress got their orders first. Then took another tables order before me. Bed was hard. Phone to receprion did not work. Toilet had very little room to sit down without knees hitting shower glass. No hair dryer and shower handles did not work conveniently. The soap in tower container would not dispense. Side of fruit swrved before breakfast came in the appearance of a soup. The french toast was good. The bed duvet was warm."
