Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The bonus was the view from the property was gorgeous."

"I was very disappointed with the facilities provided by the hotel to its paid guests. Occupants were not allowed to use the sauna and needed to book well in advance, and it's closed at 5pm, and if you are free in the evening, you don't have access to it. Also, it only allows you a 30-minute slot."

"The Whiskey Vault business runs a a bar restaurant plus a small hotel. The best of this accommodation is its convient town center location. The room we had is clean but space is really tight. When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar. Actually we had no contact with the hotel receptionist during our two-night stay. Better than anticipated, noise in late evening was non-issue for our stay during a weekend. There is no...

"Simple but comfortable room. We had tea and coffee to make and a small but functional ensuite. The property is close to good pubs and restaurants and was a good spot to stay at a good price. We paid to park Accross the road."

"Really liked the staff who went above and beyond and my lamb meal at the restaurant was my favorite meal in Scotland. Enjoyed the room’s back patio and walking along the creek. It looked like some rooms were getting updates and they are needed…that is the area that needs improvement with the rooms being very hot during the crazy hot temps and the TVs having inconsistent Channels between rooms."

"Wonderful hosts whom made us a late request dinner. Rooms were clean and neat and everything was well decorated and functioning. A very nice breakfast as well. A minute to the ferry to Isle of Mull giving plenty of time for a day exploring Duart castle and Tobermorey. Highly recommend!"

"The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. "

"As two hotels are joined together, the ambiance was a bit off one wing to the other. Large bed made getting into the room with our luggage a bit awkward. Parking out front was greatly appreciated. Very well located."
