"We had an excellent stay at this hotel, it was in a beautiful downtown area right next the river. Was super nice and comfortable."

"Microtel- Janesville has a TON of TV channels to choose from which is wonderful BUT can someone explain to me why Fox News was the only channel muted out? You saw the screen but no sound. CNN was fine, MSNBC was fine, all other news channels and all other channels worked just fine...only FOX News didn't have sound. Why? Hmmmm. I will not go to this hotel again for this reason."

"The beds were comfortable and we were able to have an adjoining room with grandparents. The pool was clean and the kids had fun swimming. Overall it was quiet and the room served it's purpose. The shower was either "hot or hotter" so make sure you enjoy a hot shower. ;)"

"Staff was nice and friendly, however the hotel is falling into disrepair. Many ceiling leaks and water damage all over property including in the pool area which was actively leaking. Elevator out of service due to a flood on the lower level. Pool water was fairly cold and our room consistently smelled like pot or cigarettes and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. "The rooms were clean and ok if a little dated. The building is getting old and they need to update the carpeting in the halls. It is a good place for a quick overnight stay."

"Rooms were filthy, the bed sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. The bathtub was covered with dirt and grime. The floor was sticky and the ac unit blew directly on the 1970 vintage bed and mattress. On a scale of 1-10 this place is a definite 1!"

"We reserved and PAID for a Legacy Suite but got a 2 queen traditional room instead. The hotel blamed it on Expedia but I'm guessing they just over booked it. My wife and I were hoping for a romantic get away, which we are not able to afford much. We were both really disappointed. They didn't adjust our price because we booked through Expedia. On a positive note, the hotel was beautiful and clean. The town in of Beloit, WI is cute with a charming farmers market."
