"King Room in an old style pub that has been turned into a Motel (no pub downstairs anymore). Entry from Vincent St is a little obscure but opens straight up onto a set of stairs with reception counter a climb up 2 flights. Old eclectic pub style accommodation with shared dining room, shared loungeRoom and shared kitchen. Large older king room with private brand new bathroom (which was very clean and bright). "Chateau Elan is an excellent place to stay. Grounds are immaculate, staff cannot do enough for you and the spa is wonderful. We stayed in the spa suites, they are nice but can be a bit noisy. We previously stayed in the villa studio and prefer that room. The restaurants are very good and restaurant staff are so kind. We had spa treatments and they were excellent. Staff at the spa will ensure you are happy and comfortable. We will definitely return to the chateau!"
