"There was a minor mistake at check in, and without prompting I was given a beautiful suite. The entire hotel is beautifully restored and decorated. The bar and restaurant are in the center area and had good energy of people both during the day and evening. Feels very elegant and nostalgic. The immediate surrounding around the same block aren’t very interesting, but it’s a quick flat walk just a couple blocks to be right it the mall and the river. "

"Had to change rooms upon checking in. First room tv didn’t work. Bathroom sink was clogged. Nice front desk lady. I was very respectful and nice to her as well when I asked to change rooms. General area had lots of trash and dumpsters. Homeless people dumpster diving. Bad carpets. Blackout curtains in disrepair. Second room was much cleaner. Many power outlets didn’t work properly. Motel is by railroad tracks. Noisy trains moving by a lot. But I like trains so it didn’t bother me much. Great diner across the street. Frank’s Diner. This alone made up for the flop house feeling. Also close to Grocery Outlet for a cheap booze run. Not completely bad but not worth 92 bucks. Would only stay there again to go to Frank’s Diner. That was fabulous. Spokane people are very friendly. Hotel concept was great. Just needing a huge spruce up. Could be a great property someday if they invest in repairs."

"Room smelled like diapers and old people. Opened the door every time we walk in it smelled awful. It was clean but had just a weird smell to it. I’ve stayed here many times and was not impressed. Staff is friendly and cool and everything was great just the weird smell got to me."

"The beds were clean as were the bathrooms but the facility did seem a little outdated. Our room had a broken door to the outside which was weird as we almost didn’t see it because the door was hidden with a wall of curtains. Staff seemed stressed and were out of amenities like extra blankets."

"I was there for a short stay before heading to the airport. Loved that I could have a glass of wine by the many fire pit areas and read a book the evening before flying out. Gorgeous and relaxing before a 3:00 am departure. Breakfast (muffins and fresh fruit, as well as coffee) available before 3am and was very thoughtful. "

"Room was clean but the counter sink next to closet was not wiped clean. Other than that I was happy with the room, staff, breakfast, and bar!!! I would definitely stay again."

"I appreciate the kind staff. I always have a good experience getting a stay here. Affordable and clean. A little rundown in some places...but its clean! Pool is warm. Breakfast was a little misleading so I missed out on that. But I am still happyand rested."

"Our stay was ok. Check in was good. Room was ok and very quiet. It was clean but dark. The walls are painted a dark slate with similar colour blinds and tiles in the bathroom. It had a pool view but being tucked into a corner behind an access ramp made it feel very dark, even with the sun in the morning shining in. The beds are a little soft and the furnishings are heavily scratched and need to be resurfaced. Restaurant is excellent and we highly recommend it. Location is great for access to downtown and shopping."
