"This historic building was very well maintained. The ice machine was not working but they happily got us in the kitchen. The wait staff were all great. Bartender, waitresses, cook we so pleasant and the food was delicious. Clams and cocktails on the outdoor patio were lovely, and the clams were so good. We dined inside for dinner and breakfast. Both were great. The pool was wonderful and not crowded for lap swimming. The sports club staff were a bit underwhelming, and they were out of breakfast...

"We stayed at this hotel and will again. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The parking was convenient. We walked everywhere from the hotel."

"This is a basic, clean, comfortable motel that feels safe, has good parking and is in easy walking distance to some great downtown amenities. I was not impressed with the "free" breakfast at Ruby's - there was a long wait, it only includes about 3 menu choices, or a nominal discount on anything else, and to be honest while the staff was nice, the food was not anything special. Better options are around, but if you're really on a budget it's ok. Five stars on the value of the stay, though."

"This is a good option for a work trip. Convenient, clean, with some style. We chose a room with a view, but the view was of an empty parking lot across the street. Not the best. The restaurant was depressing. Hotel staff was nice."
