"First room was unusable due to extreme noise all night, and I only got moved the next day after reporting it. The first night was therefore effectively lost and no refund was given. Also concerning: the hotel took full credit card details, including the security code (CVV), and wrote them down on a piece of paper, which is unsafe practice. "We knowingly booked a small room. The room itself was clean and decent enough. It was an extremely hot day so could have done with A/C or at least a better fan than that provided. The bathroom was too tiny to be practical. There was no shelf in the tiny shower and there was not enough room to bend down and pick shower gel off the floor. Overall the price was very reasonable so we were not expecting the world. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable."

"Ideal as a HMO for down and outs. Very outdated decor, including furniture that should have been thrown out in the seventies. The windows do not shut properly, single glazing, so you could hear the crackheads arguing on the green opposite. Very narrow staircase, which was a struggle with large suitcases and no lift. No bar or restaurant facilities. The room had a lightshade missing from one bedside lamp, a loose toilet seat and chips missing from the shower floor. The only plus side is that it...

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was clean. The decor was dated but everything was well maintained. The hotel was dog friendly and in a central location with a sea view and lots of amenities nearby. We had a lovely stay."
