"This seems to be an older property but is still in good shape. No issues with cleanliness and no bugs of any kind seen (and I’m that traveler that always checks the mattresses first thing). Yes the carpet may be faded and stained in spots, but that is likely an indication of heavy use over time by multiple guests. The cobbler and ice cream at night were a nice surprise! Breakfast was good with a variety of foods both hot and cold. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available all the time. We didn’t use the indoor pool or hot tub, but could see several other travelers taking advantage of it. It is not inside the hotel but only a short distance away in an interior courtyard. The only issues we experienced was a slightly slow draining tub/shower and the bathroom light/exhaust combo was a bit loud. Small individual toiletries and a hair dryer were provided, and our room had a mini fridge, microwave, and individual size coffee maker. There is not a separate closet, but there is an open area with a large hanging bar/hangers with a shelf (much more space than a typical hotel closet). Could hear people talking in the hallway in the morning but the night was quiet. Beds, bedding, and pillows were good. There wasn’t a chair in the room besides a rolling chair at the desk but it wasn’t a big deal to us. Room was very spacious with a nice window view. Indoor entryways are always a plus too. Decent price. Would stay again."
