"Got handicap accessible room and handicap chair in shower broke. We spoke with staff and they comped room for one night only. The accident ruined our whole trip and we travelled over 900 miles. We had 2 rooms for 2 days. We eneded up going to the dr due to the fall and realized wrist was broken. We contacted the hotel by emaio and now they wont even respond. Then there were kids running on floor above us until about 2 am."

"This lodge is simply stunning! Although it is not a new facility it is very well maintained. Everything was very clean, the staff is top notch, the amenities are great. Meals at the on-site restaurants were exceptional. It's too far to walk into downtown Lake Placid however they offered a shuttle. The one day the shuttle was not offered due to a marathon there was plenty of taxi opportunities. We wouldn't hesitate for a minute to stay here again."

"It was a nice hotel and peaceful weekend. We did not try the breakfast, but the restaurant inside the hotel had great staff and the food was great. However, the room wasn't amazing, it is just older but still clean, and the staff has a habit of knocking on the door pretty early in the morning. We had our checkout set for 11 am and the staff knocked on the door at 9:30am, when I answered they said they were checking if we did an early check out, I feel like they could have checked that at the...

"My daughter was running in the Lake Placid Marathon and we decided to stay a little out of town. We were very happy to have found this lovely little gem next to the golf course. The rooms were well stocked and very clean. The decor was Adirondack chic with queen bunk beds and kitchenette area. We will stay here again and for a longer period of time!"

"Our room was clean and conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Lake Placid. We had a little trouble with getting in using a passcode, but the staff was very helpful getting that resolved."

"This is a quaint inn under new ownership. The staff was eager for us to have a great experience and we did! We were warmly greeted and any special requests we had were easily taken care of. Our evening was topped off by an excellent dinner of filet mignon in the attractive, cozy dining room/bar."
