"A lovely Japanese inn with incredible food, comfortable bedding and wonderful hospitality. We spent two of our week long Yamaguchi prefecture trip at Hagi no Yado Tomoe and we were very happy with our choice. Evening meals presented in our room were exceptional. It was a traditional Japanese ryokan meal but with some western style interpretations. "This hotel was amazing. The rooms are traditional and you have the use of 5 onsen baths. There was also a free one hour kibuki show which was a highlight. Very funny. Well located and very atmospheric "

"Hotel cleanliness was great, Breakfast was very good with a huge choice, good mix between Japanese and Western food. Chance to practice with chopsticks if you wish. Bar was good with live music both night we attended The staff were absolutely great, several interactions with Mark and Nuyen, very nice people. Customer service throughout out stay could not have been better. Only concern is that the staff will have an uphill battle with maintaining the relatively new hotel, the design was great but the building materials were already showing sign of wear and tear. Have to pay for it in the initial build or as you go !"
