"I stayed here for convenience and proximity to my daughter, wh is at Uni. The property looked smart and interesting and most importantly value for money. I had a single room at the top so 3 lotsof stairs. The bed was very comfortable, the linen spotless, hot and powerful shower and adequately stocked tea tray. The temperature was comfortable abd despite some road noise, i slept well. I did not have breakfast, although the snell wafting to my room was tempting. Its a 10-15 minute walk...

"The friendliest hotel I have stayed in, ever. The staff were delightful - hospitable, kind, engaging and very efficient. The hotel fully lives up to its globally iconic location in one of England's most beautiful cities, steeped in history and culture. It was amazing that such a 'top-end' hotel is dog friendly too... We felt very special during our stay and would love to return. Worth every penny...!"
