"The staff was outstanding! They were very attentive and really made you feel that you were a part of their Jamaican family! I liked our bungalow it was very spacious although somewhat dated with some fresh curtains and furniture. That would be fabulous. The food was excellent; I enjoyed the morning breakfast the best with Georgia starting my day with her smile! I looked forward every evening to Henry always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. The girls from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar made every day a blessing! Special love to Tina, Maraceli, Kimi for always smiling you are truly beautiful inside and out! "The resort is old and rundown. The buildings need a major touch up and that takes away from the aesthetic's. The staff is good whenever you can find them. Many seem to be owned by timeshare owners so it is what it is. "

"All the staff except for front desk was very helpful and sweet. Housekeeping informed us on day 1 that the spare key to our room was lost so she couldn’t clean our room. It took 4 days of asking at front desk and finally tracking down management ourselves to solve the issue. They compensated us with a free meal which was very appreciated. Front desk staff ignored our requests to copy our key for housekeeping. To me, front desk is a weak link in the chain of customer service here. Otherwise, amazing location, peaceful beach (yes, Jamaicans are always offering things for sale on the beach, but I understand they’re just trying to make a living after a devastating hurricane. Also, it was convenient to get patties and juice and fruit on the beach). The pool is well maintained. The food is decent. The rate is good. The beds are very, very firm. Too firm for me. Other people may like that. There are no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. An odd thing to be missing in a hotel. All around 3.5/5"
