"What a gem! Great location off the beaten path with plenty of atmosphere and free parking. Our 2nd story room had great views to the volcano. Plenty of walkable paths nearby. Great restaurant with a decent breakfast."

"This was our favorite place we stayed at while visiting Iceland. The staff and property were wonderful. Rooms were spacious and well-stocked. Very comfortable beds and amenities. There was nearby hiking, a playground, a hot tub, and a pond on the property. We loved seeing the sheep that roamed the property. The food was excellent, especially the lamb and wine! We would have adjusted our trip schedule if we had known how much we would love the property. I highly recommend staying at this...

"Beautiful mountain view "

"Modern hotel lobby and they have a cute neighborhood cat who's often wandering the grounds. Staff was helpful. Fantastic views and breakfast buffet facing the church. We enjoyed the views from all the windows, so beautiful! The carpeting could be updated and our room + bathroom was cramped for three. If you're mostly resting for the night this will work."

"The view from here is absolutely stunning. From the volcanic cliffs out the bathroom window to the North Atlantic Ocean in front you. Not to mention the full view of Mt Stepafell. Break was fantastic and the coffee was top notch."

Exactement comme annoncé, le frigo est minuscule et un peu bruyant. Il faut ajouter des crochets au mur, pas cher et très utile. Un seul crochet divisé en deux n’est vraiment pas suffisant quand on rentre avec des vêtements mouillés. La cuisine partagée est très bien. "One of the most beautiful hotel that have stayed in. Love it for the hospitality and views are breathtaking especially the sea+morning sunrise. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly - they knocked on our door to let us know on the aurora sighting as was awaiting it. Recommend to stay 2 nights or more as our 1 night was too short. Breakfast was lovely & night having a cold Iceland beer was great! Thank you so much for the experience & warm welcome! "

"The location was beautiful, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was was adequate. The blackout curtains did hold up to the midnight sun, bring an eye mask and that helps."

"We stayed in many hotels along the circle but Vest Mar was the best of all ! My family was very impressed with the location and nicely done room arrangements with dining table. The kitchen had all necessary plates and dishes. We all agreed if we re-visit Iceland Vest Mar will be the only hotel we need to book for the duration of stay."

"Kleines, aber sauberes Zimmer. Gemeinschaftsbad war sauber. Gemütlich eingerichteter Gemeinschaftsbereich. Lage war prima, direkt am Hafen. Frühstück war gut. Außen- und Zimmertüren sind per App oder PIN zu öffnen, das macht den Check-In komplett problemlos. Rundum eine gute Unterkunft."

"Es war ein kleines Zimmer mit Blick auf die Straße. Sehr kleines ruhiges Dorf, also wenig Verkehr. Die Matratze war etwas weich, ansonsten war es ganz gut. Man hat den Aufzug und die anderen Zimmertüren jedoch immer gehört, was ziemlich störend nach einiger Zeit wurde. Das Frühstück war lecker, jedoch begrenzt auf eine Wurst, einen Käse, etwas Marmelade, Brötchen und Gemüse."
