"The public rooms are modern and clean. Plenty of onsite parking at £4. The classic room we had was a good size and comfortable. The bathroom door had seen better days but otherwise the bathroom was ok except for the cheap hand wash/gel. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, minimal choice of cold items, only processed sliced bread for toast. The hot food was a decent choice but there were no eggs out. The waitress said 2 minutes, they came out after asking for a second time around 10 minutes...

"Good value for money. Parking included in the price. Easy/quick check in and check out. Surprisingly good view out of our bedroom window. Would definitely stay here again."

"Worst place with the worst attitude manager. Stayed here before we flew the next day. Spa wasn't open as work was going on. That was fine, however I ran a bath and the water was brown with lots of dirt in. Ran the shower. Exactly the same. Went to reception to be told nothing they could so. Requested a refund as this was unacceptable to be put in a room with no working water. Got £50 pound back. I wasn't happy with this so spoke to the manager the next morning who was very defensive and said...

"Lovely situation - large room that was clean. However walking in it felt quite down at heel, a bit like a scruffy airport waiting area. We ate in the restaurant on arrival - the food was edible. However, the staff at reception and in the restaurant were welcoming and attentive."

"A deeply frustrating day. Excessive noise due to parties on 2 of my 3 nights and even more so with very disruptive children ruining my final night by poor behaviour (banging on doors, banging, running in the corridors, knocking on my door). Hotel staff did not act properly to sort, despite informing them. Offered me a refund to apologise that they are now appear to trying to step back from."
