"There was parking outside every unit for 1 vehicle. The rooms were fresh and provided the needed towels and blankets. Extra pillows and blankets in the room too.
The owner Simon went above and beyond when we arrived, during a power cut (Narly storm chased us into Hokitika). He made sure we knew what was open for food and that we had a candle for a room until the power came back on."

"This is a gorgeous establishment, with incredible sunsets. Our room as great!
It was perfect for one night. Note that there is not much around (there was one pub maybe 5 minutes away that was open, and the restaurant at the hotel), at least during the winter months. If you need grocery, make sure to buy it before getting there."

"peaceful location. lovely villa. had sky tv. our villa had a washing line but no washing machine, which would have been handy. wifi not great so made booking next stage of our road trip hard. nice touch having hot tub for guests to use. hosts really easy to contact. would recommend but with caveats about washing machine and wifi."

"The view was breathtaking . I did not like the food prices of the restaurant. This is like mooching people because they have no option to go anywhere else to eat. If we knew that it is going to be that expensive we would have carried our own food. Staff was good. "
