Theatre Royal Hotel Kumara

Theatre Royal Hotel Kumara

10/10 Excellent
"I mistakenly chose this place while looking for accommodation in Greymouth, and I’m very glad I did! It’s a wonderful place — homely, warm, rustic and peaceful. I booked a room with shared facilities and was lucky enough to have the place to myself for the night. My room also had its own surprisingly spacious bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The staff were lovely and welcoming. I was initially a little anxious about the more isolated location, but the hospitality quickly put me at ease and I really enjoyed my stay. There’s also a restaurant on site, and as an Expedia VIP member I received a $20 food and drink voucher. I had the carbonara and soup of the day for dinner, and both were delicious. A completely unplanned stay that turned out to be one of the nicest homely-style accommodations I’ve stayed in. A very pleasant surprise!"
