"We arrived and we're upgraded which was nice. The room was clean and modern. We wanted to use the spa and had to pay £10.00 per hour pp which wasn't expected. Then the steam room wasnt very hot so that was disappointing. This should of been mentioned before we booked. The breakfast was good. Not somewhere I would visit again in a hurry. Very pricey for what it is."

"We had lunch at the hotel prior to booking in. The food was superb & our room spacious and clean. Parking was easy. We had a wonderful time."

"Breakfast time was not very organised, perhaps this was because there was only one member of staff visible. The buffet was very poor. As guests we had to ask for hot food. There were no croissants or bread (which arrived frozen) and very little fresh fruit. Not what we expected for a 4 star hotel."

"Once probably a very poice hotel. Now without proper maintanance overpriced and very noisy. We had a good room, premium, although the fridge in the room was taken out, light in the bathroom didn’t function. Breakfast was very poor, very basic with almost nothing to choose from. Spa was ok."

"The hotel is an oasis of peace in a beautiful Surrey town. The staff were very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. However the room was not as luxurious as the photos had led us to expect. Also curry night needs to consider English tastes, the korma was so spicy I could not eat it, very disappointing. Overall I would recommend the hotel as the situation, grounds and staff were brilliant."

"VERY poor hotel, arrived late (11:30pm) after a long drawn out journey and for some reason had to wait 30 minutes to check in, no queues just poor service (and a printer that wouldn’t print - really?). Got to the room to find it was a dirty room uncleaned from the previous occupant. Waited an age again to get a new room which was freezing and in the noisiest part of the hotel. Had to request a heater to make the room habitable - it didn't work. The hotel rooms are just shabby. Not a great...

"Excellent stay for the night, at a really good price compared to what was locally available and which were inferior to Barnett Hill in overall value and quality. We checked in at 23:50 without problem, and although the signage could probably be a bit clearer in terms of arrows to especially at that time of night, we found the room eventually and it was clean and well prepared. Only downside was i couldn't work out if we had hand soap for the bathroom albeit it might have been in an amenity...

"The Angel Posting House is a quirky Tudor-era property, with long and interesting history and many historically-famous guests. Thus the property has a many different levels and steps up to the rooms; each with a wonky charm; typical of this era dwellings. On top of the olde world charm, it still has a modern fit-out and was a very comfortable stay. "We've stayed at Worplesdon Place before and always enjoy it. As always, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was extremely comfortable. We stayed here the night before a family wedding and the manager kindly gave us a late check-out so that we had more time in the room to get ready."
