"Beautiful property in a beautiful setting. The staff are wonderful. The manager gave us helpful suggestions for enjoying the area and even drove us to the train station on Easter Sunday morning when we checked out as taxis might have been difficult."

"Not a typical layout for hotel as rooms are located around the property, but this just adds to the wonderful setting. Parking was easy, location to town is walkable if you want...about a mile, but nice and safe. The views are outstanding, even from my standard room. Dinner and breakfast was both wonderful. "This was the most incredible find!!! Casa do Santo is located on a gorgeous and historic property. The building and room were totally gorgeous and the family that runs this hotel are lovely. We had dinner and breakfast onsite and the meals were delicious and oh so homey! We visited during the off season which was already stunning but we plan to be back some future late summer when the vineyards are full!"

"I was never able to get to the hotel due to road closures caused by flooding in the area. The hotel never communicated to me via any means before hand. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. We were lucky to eventually drive out of the scary dangerous roads. A refund request was denied by the hotel. While I understand the policy, I don’t understand why the hotel never...
