"Upper House was definitely that. I stayed in Gothia Towers and then did an upgrade for two nights. It was a good stay in both places but they certainly turned up a notch at Upper House.
The spa was wonderful. Not too crowded as they made reservations.
The saunas and Hamam room were very nice. Pools were warm and well maintained.
Breakfast at both places was good but I was able to get made to order breakfast at upper house which was very nice.

"The wellness experience was very pleasant. The gym had everything, including views and energy drinks for sale. I’ve never seen this in a Canadian or American hotel. The front desk was exceptional, and the hotel breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all great. Very happy with my stay here, the spa products, and the sauna experience."

"Lovely, fun and sassy place to stay. Adults only. The room was incredibly quiet being so close to the city and trains. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was really good, and the roofbar very lively. The room needed some maintenance, which we told the front desk about. I'd recommend asking for a quiet room on the canal side, which seemed quieter than the train side, and definitely not having a room over the bar next door, which seemed to go late into the morning.
