"Clean, basic room, comfortable enough. No useful amenities (no fridge, tea-making, or welcoming bottle of water). We asked for an underground parking space 5 weeks ahead, but no space when we arrived. Helpful receptionist indicated reasonably convenient expensive local open parking though. Well-located for what Valence has to offer - which isn't much! Good eateries though. Limited EV charging and confusing one-way system - we ended up in a bus lane."

"Het is gewoon een prima overnachtingshotel voor onderweg. Bedden zijn goed, kamers voorzien van airco, ontbijt is voldoende. Parkeerterrein is ruim genoeg en goed afgesloten s nachts. Nog een voordeel, je kan ook dineren bij het hotel, of gewoon naar de Mc Donalds die op 800 meter afstand is. Ben je boodschappen vergeten, dan is de Lidl op 100 meter om de hoek"

"The slick look of the pictures have nothing to do with the stained and run down state of the building. The floor of the room was quite dirty as well though linens and towels were clean. Improving house cleaning and changing the awful carpet in the staircase would go a long way in changing perceptions."
