"While I understand the need for non-refundable policies (non-committal bookers, snow conditions etc), I would have expected the hotel to offer some flexibility given the exceptional circumstances when Heathrow airport was closed due to a fire. This could have been offered as a refund or a credit to stay at the hotel at another date, however the hotel offered no flexibility despite the circumstances. Book with caution. "

"Nice and quiet village in the middle of the mountains, with amazing views, and great routes to hiking around. Your four-legged friends are welcome, so this was one of the mainly options for me to pick this hotel. The bad side of the rooms are if the neighbors are lousy or have a little baby you'll listen everything, but this was just bad luck. Also the mini-fridge compressor are also a little loud."

"We stayed at Hotel Val de Ruda for eight nights to ski and experience the region. The hotel staff was exceptional; friendly, professional, going above and beyond to see that we had a pleasant, relaxing stay. When a larger room opened, Inma offered it to us for the remainder of our stay. Melania and the entire dining staff made sure we tasted the traditional liqueurs and dishes of the Valley. The breakfasts were wonderful and dinners exceptional. A five minute walk to the main Baqueria gondola...

"We did not stay at the Royal Tanau as it was closing for season end, but we were relocated to the Eurostar La Pleta, which was amazing overall. Very nice service, every detail very well looked after. Smooth van service to the ski lift"
