Utah Hotels with free airport shuttle

"The bathroom areas in the rooms (we extended our stay, but got moved to another room) were fairly neglected. Hair in\on the towels, junk built up into the corners of the floor. The bathrooms could use a verrry deep clean. I brought my own cleaning products from home in anticipation of this and I'm so glad I did. The pool area needs a very very deep cleaning as well. The water was always cloudy, and there were other people's random hairs that would get stuck to me while swimming. There was also a huge clump of hair on the edge of the pool that was there for DAYS. We saw the pool guy come in and out of the area, but there wasn't any checking the area for cleanliness, and there was no way he could've missed the cloudy water if he had looked. I've been coming to this hotel for close to 40 years, and this was never my experience until the hotel was bought by Red Lion. The front desk staff are so kind, so I do not blame them at all. This hotel has been a fond part of my life. YEARS spent in that pool, and running around the halls. So I return here and there to see if they have made improvements or not, and I'm always a little sad about the lack of upkeep. The last night of our stay, a child pooped on the side of the pool, and then tracked it into the hot tub (there were footprints), and he was back into the pool quickly. My three kids and I were all so sick the next day. Truly, I should be comped for the stay. If not, then at least that last night."

"If you want to be treated poorly by management, by all means choose this hotel. Jarrod, the general manager has no business being in this industry. He has no idea how to resolve issues or talk to guests politely. I’ll give him 0 stars. Monica. a manager, chose the wrong career as well. She should be in a position that doesn’t require customer interaction. The breakfast attendant was wonderful, the night front desk girl was helpful, and Jerry, the shuttle driver was very friendly. I gave the hotel a better rating only because of these 3 individuals. "
