"It’s out in the country, about 30 minutes from Moab. Beautiful place. Great view of the mountains. Watch out for the deer on the way from Hwy 191 to the property. Bring your own food for lunch and dinner, unless you eat out. All you need for breakfast is provided. Great gourmet kitchen. Staff is super. You will love this place. It’s like being at home."

"Room was small, a bit crowded but clean. Bathroom door was damaged. The breakfast was a bit bleak; the commercial "omelette" was folded cheese, tasted terrible and could not be easily cut with a knife. I had to ask the front desk lady to find some coffee cups, and she seemed grumpy about that. For $200, I think the room is vastly overpriced, and breakfast should be avoided. Lots of grass for our dog to walk in but the exercise area is ridiculously small."

"Abajo Lodge was a surprising wonderful place. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bedding luxurious. It looked as if there is a pool but we didn't need that. Breakfast would have been nice but I don't think there was a room that could accommodate that. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised and will book again if our travels take us through Monticello."

"The property is gorgeous and the staff are amazing. Everyone is so helpful and seems happy to be there. We ran out of dog food during our stay and Vanessa at reception brought us some of her own from home. They truly take care of you here! Awesome amenities, especially the adventure center! We loved our horse ride and UTV trip as well as the bike rentals and great hiking right from the property. Truly a peaceful and lovely stay."

"Everything about this hotel is excellent. Smooth check-in, modern and clean rooms, warm and helpful staff, good onsite restaurant. We stayed for 2 nights. Asked for extra blankets and they were delivered to room promptly. There is ample parking. Location is good, right at the edge of Moab town making it quite place but mere 2 mins from the town. Just perfect."

"The hotel was modern and welcoming. Rooms were very clean and nice. They were very busy when we stayed there serving several bus tours. The staff worked very hard but like everywhere anymore possibly a little understaffed. No doubt I would stay there again and recommend anyone else that they will have a fine stay at this motel."

"This is a nice motel that is conveniently located and reasonably priced. The rooms are generally large and clean and have opening windows. There are very bad rooms though that get a lot of traffic from guests and/or noise from the pool. Avoid any room near an entrance or the pool."
