"The property is gorgeous. There is no prettier setting. The food and wine were excellent. We found the service marginal at best. It was not customer centric, and there was much more that couldn’t be done than we have experienced anywhere else. I understand that a “yes” is not always possible, but a mindset that is “can-do” to find solutions is what is helpful. Also, we were flabbergasted that after extremely expensive spa treatments, they charged an additional 100 euros for use of the other spa...

"The concierge at the front desk took such good care of us! They had our car ready and packed up when we had to check out at 6:00am! And the night before, when we were walking up the hill to get to our dinner reservations...the concierge saw us and gave us a ride. And the breakfast buffet is incredible. Assisi is pretty magical."

"This was a perfect in between if you’re traveling in Umbria..we were in Orvieto on route to Perugia so we stopped here. Great to have parking! The hotel and all in it was great. Also walking was easy for shopping and great meals and gelato!"

"Das Frühstück war für uns nicht wirklich ein Frühstück, es gab lediglich dünnes Toastbrot dazu etwas Gouda mit Schinkenwurst. Es war lieblos angerichtet. Etwas Kuchen gab es noch dazu. Es war alles eher mager und geschmeckt hat es leider auch nicht. Die Klimaanlage hat in unserem Zimmer leider auch nicht funktioniert. Insgesamt war alles eher nüchtern und spartanisch."
