"We stayed here for two nights. It was just ok. Don't expect anything over the top considering how much you're paying. Breakfast is traditional Ecuadorian food. The hotel is close to all the downtown festivities and shops and is directly across the street from the city's main waterfall. We stayed here the weekend of Palm Sunday. The city was crazy with people, especially outside of the hotel. So, if you stay here that particular weekend, be prepared to be awakened very early (4am) in the morning with hundreds of people who have come to bath in the hot pools and waterfall. "

"Our stay at Samari Spa Resort was truly unforgettable. The property itself is absolutely stunning—elegant, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we could feel that this was a special place.
What made our experience even more meaningful, though, was the warmth of the staff. Every single person—from reception to the restaurant—was not only professional, but genuinely kind and welcoming. They created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and incredibly comfortable, which is not always easy to find.
Traveling with young children (ages five and three), we weren’t sure what to expect at a more upscale resort, but it exceeded all expectations. Our kids had an amazing time, especially enjoying the chocolate massage and the pool area. It meant so much to us to see them so happy and included.
Between the beautiful setting, the thoughtful details, and the heartfelt hospitality, we created memories we will cherish for a long time. We still find ourselves talking about how warm and special our experience was.

"I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Deluxe Volcan! There’s no better way to experience the beauty of Baños.
This boutique hotel hosts only four rooms, which creates a sense of exclusivity and allows for very personalized service. I truly appreciated how friendly and attentive the staff were throughout my stay. I was warmly welcomed with a drink and given a detailed overview of the area.
I also valued the daily advice I received from the staff on how to best experience Baños—they really helped elevate my trip.
The views from the rooms are what truly set this hotel apart. Please make this place part of your itinerary when visiting Baños—it won’t disappoint."
