"A good resort choice if you want to stay in downtown Apia, as opposed to the coastal hotels on the west and south coasts. Just remember there is no beach access at this resort, so you will have to make do with the quite nice pool and bar area! The location on Main Beach Road is a short walk to the limited attractions of downtown Apia, including a few restaurants and cafes, the fish and produce markets, Samoa Cultural Village and McDonalds!
The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean, with good sized bathrooms, large screen TVs and basic facilities like bar fridge and tea & coffee. Food choices from the bar are limited, but tasty. Breakfast in the dining area was fine with a buffet style featuring the normal mix of western dishes and fresh fruits, drip coffee and juices. Unless you are using pre-booked tours (which the resort can organise), you will really need a car to maximise your stay in Samoa by visiting some of the beautiful beaches and waterfalls. Fortunately the resort has ample parking available. In summary, an older resort that is showing its age, but still offering a reasonable experience. Just don't expect the same 4 star facilities that you might be used to in the big city locations."
