"The pictures online are nothing like the hotel when you get there the hotel needs a makeover. It says that it has two restaurants but in fact, the breakfast is only open till 10:30 in the morning and the brasserie was only open 2 times and I stayed a full week. It atates that it has a gym which it does not and hasn’t been working for years. The rooms are very dingy stuff caked and stuck on the walls. "From the outset the reception was chaotic with lots of noisey people. I had to queue for self check-in. I queried why there was a £5 car parking charge when this hadn't been pointed out prior to my booking. I asked why this was and he said because I booked with Expedia. So be careful. The hotel was tired and not worth the money."

"Dafydd is an excellent host and we had a lovely stay in "Llyrlys" comprising cozy bedroom with upstairs ensuite. Underfloor heating was great (there in November!) and the breakfasts delicious, with Dafydd also providing great conversation. Location is great for exploring the western end of the Gower. Hope to stay here again. "

"Absolutely amazing, we have never stayed anywhere like this, the pictures do not do it justice, the place is huge! The views are stunning and you have everything there you may need. Surprised there was no air-conditioning in what looks like a new ish building. Thanks again, this will be our go to place when we ever visit Swansea. "

"When we arrived expecting to stay in an annex as per the image on Expedia, we were instead in a room in the main house. We took this up with the proprietor who agreed to cancel with no cost. We took this at face value and stayed elsewhere. On checking our bank account on 24 Sept we saw that we had been charged. We called the property but were told we need to take this up with Expedia. Very disappointed."
