"Be aware. All the restaurants stop serving food at 8.30pm. So, if you come down to eat at 8.35pm you are left with zero options. The staff (who are honestly helpful) said that people often just order Just Eat or Uber Eats. So it must be a common thing. It's very odd for a hotel of this size and quality to stop entirely any hot food after 8.30pm and enough of an problem to not come back."

"I stayed only for a short overnight before an early morning flight and found this hotel perfect for the cause. Very convenient transport to and from Gatwick by shuttle (4-5 pounds), and a bar and restaurant on site so there’s no need to go elsewhere. Staff is very friendly and efficient, room was quiet and comfortable."

"Rooms are very dark. Bathroom has very small standalone shower and bath. Don’t know why they don’t pull out the baths on 2 floors & put in bigger showers."

"We had a short buy sweet stay. The staff were friendly, the room was spotless and breakfast was yummy. Plenty of parking too. Only two things to note 1. We could hear the next door room, and movement (footsteps) from the room above us 2. We booked the 'Executive Room, 1 King Bed'. The bed was two mattresses with one mattress cover - not the most comfortable for a couple."

"Lets get the good things out of the way. Firstly, the beds were lovely and comfy and we slept well in them, the night was peaceful with no noise from other rooms, the gentleman on reception very swiftly sorted out an issue that we had with the room which I will get to shortly, we loved the amenities in the room (kettle, hair dryer, fridge, iron and ironing board, great TV and lots of lighting options with lamps etc). Also a view of the river. However, we booked a family room for 2 adults and one child, so three people and when we got to the room, it was only set up for two so I call down to reception to sort the issue out. The phone was not answered so I had to go downstairs and find the receptionist who swiftly sorted the problem. The room on first impressions looked clean but on closer inspection we found a fair amount of rubbish had been left by previous guests which I think was easily visible (toy packaging sticking out from under one bed and McDonald's sauce packet and bottle lid under the other) and some sweet wrappers on the floor near the bed, the desk was wobbly and will fall apart when being leant on, there didn't seem to be any central heating and there was a questionable portable heater, the shower head in the bathroom was dirty/rusty and the taps needed better cleaning. I feel that a bit more attention to detail is needed and this hotel would be a 10/10 but at the moment I would rate it a 6. Also checkout is at 11.30 not 12pm which i feel is normal for a hotel"

"If you require accommodation in this area, then take a tent! Booked for two nights, but stayed only one. How this establishment can be allowed to house human beings, is far too difficult for me to imagine. Health and Safety Executive would shut down and condemn in a heartbeat! A stale and sickly malodorous stench, which no doubt is from damp spoors, festoons the entire building, corridors, rooms and even reception ! If you do book in, then sleep on the floor, if your mattress is anything like mine was. This place is way past renovation. It needs a bulldozer!!"

"I feel this hotel has just changed management. For the price we were charged it was very tired, carpet stains in corridors, buckets to catch leakes. The room was spacious but needed a deep clean. We were charged £10 for the car park. We had an evening meal that was presented and cooked well. My portion was very small. Breakfast was average. Staff were very kind and welcoming."
