"Wir hatten ein hübsches Chalet mit reetgedecktem Dach. Das Auto parkte direkt daneben unter einem Baum. Auf dem Gelände gibt es Springbok und andere Tiere zur ständigen Beobachtung. Auch ein Schwimmbad mit Liegen und Schattenplatz ist auf dem Gelände. Das Hotel liegt an einer Straße und an einer Farm. Beide können Lärm verursachen, wie auch einige Wildvögel oder Tiere aus dem am Hotel gelegenen Tierpark mit sehenswerter Großvoliere."

"The actual hotel is really very good and the rooms are outstanding. Nice grounds, nice pool and the food was also of a decent quality. Now on a road trip around South Africa, you get used to warnings about safety and taking care of belongings. Here we were welcomed with a lengthy delivery on all the steps the hotel was taking and what in turn we needed to do, which even by SA standards appeared a bit alarming, so made you think the surrounding area must be a huge 'worry'. The common areas are picture-perfect overlooking small waterholes frequently visited by playful warthogs, curious antelope, and brightly colored birds while you eat breakfast and lunch. The villa interior surprised us in every corner from little aesthetic details, unexpected offerings in the cupboard, local bedtime stories at turndown, or staff leaving wine and glasses by the bathtub our first night. "Bukela is a beautiful stay, facilities are great, friendly staff and our ranger (Sim) was very knowledgeable. Foodwise is really below average, just not good especially for a 5* resort. It felt like diner was prepared during the day and heated up in the evening, just not fresh. Breakfast was really poor. Only meal that was good was the lunch. No snacks during the day. Due to this matter i will not likely to visit Bukela again nor reconmend to anyone which is regretful as the staff and facilities...

"Decent place however in our room the ceiling fan did not work and we could not control the air con except for the temperature when we told the staff we were told that they couldn't check every room. The room needed some updating."
