"Check-in was smooth and the front desk clerk(male) was really friendly and efficient. He gave us a room on the 5th floor which was the top floor and he upgraded our room from a Double to a King. The room was clean, spacious. The bathroom was excellent with everything we needed. The power/temperature of the shower was amazing. We got a pretty deal at £64 for a Sunday stay. "

"The property needs updating and the room is a bit small. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was very good, a good variety of food options; fresh fruits, cereal, full English with vegetarian options. And a lovely swimming pool. The property is in the heart of town so plenty of nightlife. The train station is within walking distance and the university is right there. One major downside is the car park… better to use one nearby, a lot cheaper too."

"Great room with family pre booked meal but could have just turned up . Nice area to have a drink after meal only thing missing is play area outside for children to keep occupied in the evening . Will be back children loved it "

"No complaints at all with the hotel. I don’t usually leave reviews but felt the lovely staff at this hotel were well worth a mention. Every single member of staff we encountered from the reception team to the breakfast staff to the cleaners were all so friendly and cheerful - it really makes a difference to your stay. "
