"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. "Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton - staff were really helpful and polite when we checked in. The room was clean, comfortable bed and clean bathroom with all the amenities - great water pressure in the shower! Also the room was very quiet for a Friday night so not a lot of outside noise can be heard. Breakfast was really good lots of choices, fresh food and cooked to order items.
