"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. "I booked a double room which was so small. It had a dreadful view over an alley and roof top. So not desirable in any way. The room had a small fan - there is no air conditioning - we roasted - it was so so hot unbearable. With two adults in such a small room with no air-conditioning terrible. What made it worse was that there is a heated towel rail in the bathroom that was permanently on which you could not turn off so the small bathroom was so hot and made the room even worse. "Be sure to talk to the staff as they are extremely helpful and will try to understand what you want and need. Make use of the pool and the facilities and do roam around the beautiful garden. Hotel it is in an excellent spot close to the beach and a wonderful hike in the hills and the classical garden nearby."
