The beds and bedding very comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! The house is homey and charming as are the animals on site, happy hens! Beautiful views too. "

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was spacious and yet had a really cosy feel. Our evening meal was absolutely delicious, as was breakfast. The view from our room was beautiful and we had a nice walk over Tarr Steps. We will definitely return. "

"Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked...

room with a bathtub in was amazing. Staff friendly and hotel spotless. 5/5 would definitely stay again. One slight criticism but nothing much was the pillows were uncomfortable, could do with firm pillows. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
