"The lovely Hotel Villa Santa Catarina is Guatemalan-owned. Beautiful two pools, great view of the lake, and a short tuk-tuk ride to Panajachel. The restaurant on site is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room was spacious - no A/C, but not a problem with the cool lake breeze at night."

"This oasis is even better than the photographs. Blown away by the beauty of the property. The hotel was at capacity but I felt like I was the only guest and had the pool to myself most of the time. Don’t hesitate or waste time looking at alternatives. "

"They need better instructions on the location. This suite is located within The Riviera of Atitlan hotel and it's confusing trying to find the location. The phone number provided is not available on the weekends. They need a number 24/7. Finally, we didn't get room service at all. At least one day it would have been great to get clean towels. "
