"Excellent breakfast! Plenty of choice."

"The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The pool was very dirty and the jacuzzi was broken apparently broken for a while . This said it is still exceptionally good value and the first time of a few visits that the pool has been below standards. We will definitely go again . "

"Not the greatest place I have stayed in, had a room that faced onto the main road and barely had any sleep both nights.... rooms are very dated and in need of an urgent upgrade. I left the door hanger on asking for room to be serviced but on my return I found that the cleaner had just folded up wet and dirty towels and put them back on the radiator. There are no facilities to get food here at the hotel and the bar was not open at any time during our visit. Not faciliated for people with...

"Had a lovely stay and a fantastic meal room was small and didn’t look very inviting for the out side but the bed was very comfortable room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was excellent definitely go back, "

"This beautiful listed building is set in very peaceful and calm grounds. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We loved the jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. The owners have plans to update the rooms whilst keeping the wonderful character of the hotel. We loved our stay here."

"Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. "
