"Clean room, staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast was delicious, although the menu wasn't offered everyday, which had alternative choices on it. We had an evening meal there, which was amazing. Drinks a bit expensive though. Rooms are spacious & clean."

"On arrival the staff were very friendly we were on the first floor and there was a lift which is good. Our room was a great size and very clean but no Air con so was very hot even with windows open. Bed was a great size and comfortable. The room was very quite no sound from other rooms. Didn't like the bath had no hand rails to get in or out if you wanted a shower and the step into it was quite high there was shampoo but no conditioner and no bags for sanitary pads. "Lovely old hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful which is what would make me return.
Food was very good but I felt quite pricey for certain items.
Room was quite small for two sharing but we had everything we needed. Slippers and robes were a nice touch as were the biscuits.
Coffee at breakfast was lovely.
Shower tray was lethal, very slippy and I would recommend some sort of grippers be put down.
A fridge to keep water bottles cold would have been appreciated especially as it...

"Booked an overnight at short notice. This hotel was perfect. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing. Staff were incredible. Breakfast was perfect!! A perfect stay in an incredible setting. "
