Pool area was just off of beach and was also very nice with various pools Our room was a sea view suite, it was a good size and amenities were great. Had to ask a few times for the minibar to be refilled otherwise it was done. It was a little worn in places but served us well. "Beautiful beach and resort! Definitely one of the prettiest Sandals beaches we’ve been to. The spa was great. Really only downfalls were 1) locals on the beach that offer to sell you stuff multiple times per day and 2) three of the dinner restaurants require reservations and you have to make them way in advance. Not much the resort can do about the locals, as the beaches in Antigua are public."

"The Buccaneer Beach Club was perfect stay. The staff friendly especially Candace at Front Desk. The grounds well kept. My room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. If there is a downside, which there is not. The Buccaneer does not host an eatery, but why would it. You have a kitchen to cook your own food. Microwave, hot stove, etc. Next door is the Salt Plage which has good food. Great staff too!"
