"Property needs to be updated. Old fixtures and would do good with some painting. Staff is ok - polite , nothing to rave about. Restaurant is good- breakfast was interesting they count how many pieces of food is on the plate and for some reason the food is always cold even though you just place the order. Need also better lighting in rooms especially bathroom."

"I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. I stayed one night. The TV never worked even though someone came to "fix" it. It worked for 10 minutes. :( Also, the pic of the pool is deceiving. It's a wading pool right in the middle of the dining and bar space - super weird. The hot breakfast saved the day, which was delicious and the server was friendly and courteous. Definitely not worth the price. "

"too crowded and need more help there and people at desk needs to supply with all information at the time of check in no one is there to help you with your luggage to take to room and always have excuses for everthing so my first time at RIU and not that great of an experience. Any way will think about going back not sure "

"The property grounds are absolutely beautiful . The building is immaculate, dining area is warm, homely and fine dining with delicious food. We certainly felt the Jamaican culture at this hotel. Rooms are luxurious as well. Very respectful staff. "
