There are yellow flags to guide you but I did not see a lifeguard. The rooms are clean with basic amenities but a bit dated still using keys and safety box uses a removable lock. "We loved our stay at Cocos. The hotel staff were lovely. The food menus changed each night and were all delicious. If you stay at cocos definitely be sure to book a couples massage and a dinner on the beach. We found both to be well worth it. Paddle boarding and kayaking were our favorite activities. And the beach bar had great lunch choices right by the beach."

"Perfect place to unwind and recharge. The food and drinks were superb, and the staff were friendly. We had a wonderful couples massage. The entertainment was low-key and quaint. We highly recommend getting a bungalow with a plunge pool since the beach cabanas are in the sun by mid-afternoon."

"I like that the room had a kitchen with an oven so we could cook pizza being there only one night. There’s a couple bars across the street at Jolly Harbour so you’ll hear music till about 10 PM but I’m not sure if it’s every night. Property very rundown, picture show there’s nice lounge chases on the patio for review which there are not. The room was large and comfortable. "Incredible family run place with a lot of charm. Everything is thought through and the rooms very well equipped. Right by the beach and very accessible. I found it a bonus as well as it was very close to the trail that leads up to Boggy Peak (aka Mount Obama) and one can do hike up to the summit and back within 3 or 4 hours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything has been perfect for my stay here."

"I absolutely loved the location the most. It was nice to be close to a grocery store, bar and the beach especially when you’re not trying to be too much like a tourist. Where Chenkos is located isn’t that far from tourist areas also so you really get the best of both worlds.
