"I arrived around 6pm to find out I needed a code to get inside the room, I never receive that code from the property manager, I tried to contact the property but no luck, I had to deal with Expedia for 2 hrs in the phone to find me another place to stay which was 30 min drive from where I was, it is the property job to make sure their guest have that code before arriving. Very close to the airport (10mins) Cons: inconsistent service (some staff members were very accommodating and provided great service, but some were downright rude… just not as many friendly faces as in other resorts I’ve been to) Also, food choices at the buffet were limited and the bars kept running out of ingredients for the cocktails. I paid for diamond club, so perhaps I expected a lot more in terms of service and amenities), but other than...

"My husband & I travel quite often and we find this beach to be one of the most amazing beaches by far. The food is exceptional, although I was longing for some fried plantains, but that is minor. The rooms are clean but really does need upgrading, too outdated. I’d say 95% if the staff are quite pleasant and helpful. Greeting to Anaya, she’s one of the best and knows how to put a smile on someone’s face. I will recommend."

"A fantastic resort that left us feeling completely relaxed. The bay is perfect with soft, golden sand and crystal clear water. The quality of food across the resort is excellent and can’t be faulted. All members of the Galley Bay team - housekeeping, restaurant, bar, management - are superb! We couldn’t have asked for a better, friendly approach to the service and our overall experience. We are already planning our return visit!"

"I wanted to love Hodges Bay but we had an overall ok stay. Our transportation from the airport was mishandled but was fixed at the end and our return shuttle to the airport was taken care of. The resort was fairly empty as we often had the pool to ourselves and got familiar with other guests quickly.
